The name corresponds to the EOS project to create a smartphone with a 41-megapixel camera, but it will not be called. Instead, the Finnish company, it was decided to include it fully in line of smartphones on OS Windows Phone, setting the name of the Nokia Lumia 1020. Thus, the model is somewhat separated from the total weight to obtain a four digit number, but at the same time stresses and its relatives keywords Lumia 920.
