Samsung world's No.1 smartphone seller in Q1 May 28th 2013, 08:13 Korean website Yonhap reported today that Samsung is the world's number 1 smartphone seller in the first quarter of 2013. Samsung sold smartphones worth of 23.62 billion dollars in the January-March. Samsung´s biggest rival Apple sold smartphones worth of 22,9 billion dollars in January-March. Apple world hottest tech branded company (not according to us) still earns the most from sold devices. Apple topped the list of operating income ratio among the rivals around the globe in the first quarter with a staggering 31 percent, followed by Samsung with 21.8 percent, LG with 4.1 percent and Sharp with 3 percent. We expect Samsung to beat Apple another time in the second quarter of 2013 cause of the introduction of the Galaxy S4.
