Retail network MTS announced the use of payment terminals with technology to capture and recognize the signature. The joint project is being implemented with the participation of Sberbank of Russia and the international payment system MasterCard. As stated in the company's use of advanced payment technologies will provide customers with the benefits of fast and secure payments, and will speed up the process of service in retail MTS .
As part of a pilot project in a number of salons of MTS in Moscow mounted terminals working on technology to capture and recognize the signature. The technology enables customers to sign directly on the screen of the terminal, not on receipt paper, credit card payments and any item with a deposit of mobile communication as a bank card, and cash. As a result, the time to process each payment is reduced by an average of 30%. The devices also include a self-service functionality, enabling customers to self-register and pay for the purchase.
The project was implemented in cooperation with the "Sberbank of Russia", which was made by the software vendor, as well as the international payment system MasterCard, realizing with MTS comprehensive program for the development of contactless payments. New payment terminals equipped with NFC-capable of receiving payments by bank cards and mobile phones : for the transaction enough to touch the card terminal or telephone technology MasterCard PayPass.
The pilot phase of the project will last for two months, after which it will be decided on its development and spread on a wide range of documents, as well as the geographical expansion of the introduction of the terminals.
