Since the beginning, Tizen UX offers two systems to maintain consistency visual theme of the platform. Theme of "dark" shades of black and the theme "bright" shades of white / cream to decorate the background of colors and determine color tones of the various components of the screen. But since Tizen 2.2 UI, dark themes become the default choice.
Previously, Samsung also offers two systems themes on bada smartphone . Black theme used by the high-end Bada smartphone (Wave, Wave II, Wave III) which uses Super AMOLED screen, which supports WVGA resolution, with true color and alpha blend. While the white theme is used in low-end bada smartphone (Wave525, Wave575, Wave723, Wave M and Wave Y) that uses TFT type LCD screen, which supports WQVGA and HVGA resolution with 16-bit color depth.

According to Samsung, each type of screen has different needs. Composition and color theme defines the default system colors are used on the device. This fact also means that the upcoming smartphone Tizen will use OLED type screen, whether it's AMOLED, Super AMOLED or OLED Flexible (Youm).
