Many a child, probably faced with a situation where they do not unreasonably prohibit parents watching TV in the dark. To be able to look at the display screens in the dark and still maintain a healthy state of your eyes, and get a new experience of video games or watching movies, a group of enthusiasts has created a kind of a unique instrument called Lightpack.
Lightpack essence is to strengthen the sense of presence and prevent eye strain when watching TV or a display in the dark. It is mounted on a TV or computer screen and connects to a PC, Mac or HTPC with a USB cable. Special software analyzes the current image, which is displayed on the screen - be it a movie, game or anything else, and sends this information to the Lightpack, which in turn illuminates the surface of the display.
The device itself is a circuit board with a microcontroller, and a set of electronic components with LEDs, enclosed in a small box with several connectors.
