Samsung announces Galaxy S III on 3 May


Samsung has an invitation sent out stating that the "next Galaxy smartphone" on May 3 is announced. Probably it is the Galaxy S III. About the successor to the S II is still remarkably little known.

The announcement event for the new Galaxy smartphone is scheduled for Thursday 3 May in London and falls under the term "Samsung Mobile Unpacked". Under that name had previously been the Nexus Galaxy, Galaxy S II and S announced Galaxy. The invitation shows no device, but only a few patches of color.
