Nokia started manufacturing phones in Vietnam

Nokia has over the past few months has cut more than 3,000 employees and closed a number of productions in the West, but the production of handsets continue to be. To compensate for the closed plants opened new plants in Asia. One of them should be a factory in Vietnam. Previously, Nokia had its own production facilities in the country, and now plan to build a plant worth about $ 300 million. The company has already received an investment license and April 23, intends to hold a formal press conference on the launch of the plant. Earlier, in March 2010, representatives from Nokia pointed out that the plant will work in Vietnam in 2012 and will involve up to 80% of its capacity, which will about 50 million vehicles per year. Now, however, reported that the first devices Nokia, issued in Vietnam, go to the market before the end of the year. It should be noted that in the region, which opens a new plant of the Finnish company already operates the production of Samsung, and the Vietnamese authorities pin their hopes on the fact that the Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park and the province of Bac Ninh will be a regional center of high technology.
