Confirmed: Huawei Ascend D1, Ascend P1 And Honor 2 To Get Android 4.2 And Emotion UI 1.6 May 27th 2013, 08:04 Huawei isn't forget about the older devices as well as they have plans to update the older devices like Huawei Ascend D1, Huawei Ascend P1 and Huawei Honor 2. Earlier, Huawei CEO Richard Yu posted at his Weibo and confirmed about the updates for older devices. He confirmed that the Huawei Ascend D1 (dual-core and quad-core), Huawei Ascend P1 and Huawei Honor 2 to get the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean together with Emotion UI 1.6. No doubt that this is a good news for the users of these three devices. Yu also mentioned that there are more devices that getting the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean other than these three devices. Huawei is preparing on two new devices – Huawei Ascend P6 and Huawei Honor 3. The P6 will be launched ahead of the Honor 3 in coming weeks.
