This video is a demonstration of this working and what equipment is required for ti to work. In late 2012, Wi-Fi Alliance have been busy optimising Miracast as an open alternative to Apples Airplay to offer a universal platform for all technology brands to stream video & Audio feeds via Wi-Fi direct.
