LG Z will be the company's first smartphone with a flexible display
Oct 2nd 2013, 17:50, by Maximus

Recently we mentioned in the news that Samsung and LG are preparing to release their first smartphones with flexible displays. A representative of Samsung, by the way, confirmed the release of the model Galaxy Note 3 Active with the screen next week, and now has more details and a similar device from LG. According to ZD Net, the first smartphone from LG with a flexible display will be called Z or Z1 (not as clear as in this case, would react Sony). It is also reported that the production of devices have already started, and will start selling at the end of this month.

In this case, it is worth noting that neither the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Active, nor LG Z will not, in fact, bend (represented by the picture - a concept that is based on the image LG G2). But the flexible screen panels will reduce the size of skirting around the display, and make it non-separating. Both models will be available in limited quantities, as long as none of the companies has not yet released flexible OLED-panels on an industrial scale.
