Nokia Boredom Fighters to the rescue part 2! Sep 21st 2013, 18:58, by Maximus This week we went into #FightBoredom overdrive by asking you to submit boring images to Twitter,so the Nokia Boredom Fighters could use their amazing powers and transform them into something more fun. Let's have a look at what happened… First up we have Hakim's amazing Half Moon Betta fish (Betta splendens) showing off her fins. While it's an impressive display already, we thought we'd have a little fun and turn reality on its head! This one is for Chris Wright's two favourite people, where the colour popping hugger becomes the hugee!One of my personal favourites here. Everybody always asksSameer how is hair looked so perfect under water but we got to the bottom of it… Not sure if Nitesh is a fan of Star Wars but he definitely has the look of a Jedi about him. The force is strong with this one!There's not enough room to add all of the illustrations here but you can check them out on Figtht Boredom Pinterest board. And in case you were wondering how the Nokia Boredom Fighters created all of these wonderful illustrations we just so happen to have some behind the scenes photos to share! Take this example made for Carla, if you don't know she's one of the awesome people who runs Nokia Connects, so she deserves a smile from the Boredom Fighters as much as anyone! The image chosen to transform was one of Carla inspired by the Girlfriend Leads Man Around the World series of photographs. First the illustration is sketched out in pencil… Then onto some off the hook penning… Looking good, time for some colour… For colour it's moved over to information technology… Coloured in… Then it's complete but not before the finishing touch… Voilà!
