Samsung Developing Cortex-A15-based Exynos 5440 Quad-core SoC Dec 3rd 2012, 12:42 Samsung's dual-core Exynos 5250 is the only SoC that is based on ARM's Cortex-A15. Now some new information has surfaced on Samsung's Kernel Git page that reveals a quad-core processor based on ARM Cortex-A15. Samsung has added a patch to support the new processor dubbed as Exynos 5440. The reference board is identified as "SSDK5440." While the clock speed and other details are a mystery, it goes without saying that the new SoC will support ARM's big.LITTLE processing technology. http://www.sammobile.com
